Kami Perry has always had a dream of owning a restaurant since she was 10. As life went on she met Fabio in 2018. The couple married in August of 2018 and have 7 children. Fabio was a chef by trade for many different restaurants. When the couple met it all made sense, to someday fulfill Kami’s childhood dream after marring an amazing chef! They talked about it many times and what they would plan on doing.
When the pandemic hit Fabio and Kami believed that there would be many opportunity during an uncertain times. In December of 2020 Fabio found a small place in Hyannis and took a step of faith and signed a lease to open their first restaurant. Surprising Kami as an unexpected “Christmas gift”. Fabio and Kami opened the first Perry-Lima Cafe in March of 2021. Fabio and Kami are Christians and believe in honoring God first in all they do. That’s exactly what they did throughout the restaurant. They believed in having scriptures throughout their decor and their logo represent their beliefs!! Fabio and Kami always wanted to grow the business and in April of 2022 took another step of faith and signed a lease for the restaurant next door to the original. The expansion gave them structure to be larger, and seat many more happy customers. They built a name for themselves and continued to honor God in all they did. Being new on a busy restaurant filled street, they continued to push forward with their dream and amazing cuisine. All though it was a struggle at times they kept their faith and persevered.
As of 2024 Fabio and Kami have taking another step of faith and purchased a much larger restaurant and its famous name. They become the proud owners of the Hearth and Kettle. A restaurant that has been around for many years and is known to many Cape Codders and New Englanders!! They plan on keeping the name the same for H&K and keep the same recipes, classic dishes and fresh “H&K Approved” dishes. As well as the charm the restaurants have always maintained. The new owners understand the nostalgia of honoring the memories many people have and expectation when they go to a place like Hearth & Kettle! A place people remember going with their parents and grandparents. Including their Famous Roasted Turkey Dinners for Thanksgiving. The plan going forward is to bring back the name, and open many other locations once where they once existed. Starting with a location in Hyannis Main Street that was once there for 26 years. And hopefully expanding to Falmouth, Orleans, And Plymouth areas!!
Kami and Fabio are always looking for their next adventure and are excited to see what God has next for the future!!
